A tribute to Lt. Col. Charles ( Chuck ) W. Stratton, the young Gung Ho Aviator who died for an ideal he cherished – freedom through self – determination. Charles was born on October 9, 1940 and was listed MIA on January 3, 1971. Between 2001 and 2005 his crash site was excavated and in June 2007 DNA made positive ID. He is home at last and laid to rest at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
